Terms of Service
Last updated September 1, 2026
Leumos AI Studio is an early-access product in closed beta. It will change, it can be unavailable, and these terms will change with it. When they do, the “Last updated” date above changes and the new version applies from that date.
Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and Leumos, the operator of leumos.ai and Leumos AI Studio, which we refer to below as “Leumos,” “we” and “us.” You can reach us at studio@leumos.ai. They apply when you use the leumos.ai website, join the waitlist, create a Leumos account, or use Leumos AI Studio. How we handle information is described separately in our privacy notice.
What Leumos is today
Leumos AI Studio is a browser-based colour-grading tool for filmmakers and colourists. As of the date above it is in closed beta and is not open to the public; the leumos.ai website is a marketing site with a waitlist. Nothing on the website is a promise that a particular feature will ship, or ship on a particular date.
Who may use Leumos
You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live. If you are using Leumos for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf, and “you” then means that organisation. You may not use Leumos if we have previously ended your access.
Your account
Using the Studio requires an account. You can sign in with an email address and a password, or with Google. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us at studio@leumos.ai if you believe someone else has access to your account. Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep them current — we use your email address to reach you about the service.
Your footage and your grades stay yours
You keep every right you already hold in the footage you bring to Leumos, and in the grades, looks and settings you create from it. We do not claim ownership of any of it.
To run the service we need your permission to handle that material, so you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, transmit and process it for one purpose only: providing Leumos to you. In practice that means things like reading a clip to detect its scene cuts, analysing frames to match a reference, and rendering the file you asked us to export. The licence covers nothing else. It is not permission to publish your work, show it to anyone else, use it in marketing, or train models on it. It lasts only while we hold the material in order to provide the service, and it ends when the material is deleted.
You are responsible for having the rights to the material you upload. Do not put footage into Leumos that you are not allowed to copy or process.
Acceptable use
When using Leumos, do not:
- upload or process material you do not have the rights to, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- use the service to produce or handle material that is unlawful, or that sexualises children;
- attack, overload, probe or interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on, or try to reach parts of it you have not been given access to;
- attempt to extract, copy or reconstruct our models, or reverse engineer the service except where the law expressly allows it;
- resell, sublicense or share your access, or run automated bulk access against the service, without our written agreement;
- upload malicious code.
Our software
The Leumos software, its interface, its models, and the Leumos name and marks belong to us. These terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer any ownership in it to you. Leumos AI Studio also includes open-source and other third-party components, which remain the property of their authors and are provided under their own licences.
Plans and payment
Plans are not being charged for at the moment, and we do not currently collect payment details. If we start charging, we will publish the terms before we do, and we will not bill you for a paid plan without your explicit agreement to that charge. Any early-access offer we have published applies on the terms stated when it was made.
Early access, availability, and no warranty
Leumos is provided as it is and as available. During early access in particular, we give no uptime commitment and no support response time; features may change or be withdrawn, and results may vary between versions. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, including that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
Keep your own copies of your source footage and of any work you cannot afford to lose. Leumos is not a backup service and should not be the only place anything exists.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the law that applies to you, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost goodwill, or lost or corrupted footage or data, arising from your use of Leumos.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in them takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
Suspending or ending access
You can stop using Leumos at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and data by emailing studio@leumos.ai from the address on your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or where we need to in order to protect the service or the people using it. If we end your access for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we will give you a reasonable chance to retrieve material you have stored with us where we are able to.
Changes to the service and to these terms
We may change, add to, or withdraw parts of the service. We may also update these terms; when we do, the “Last updated” date above changes. If a change is significant, we will try to tell you before it takes effect — for example by email to the address on your account. If you keep using Leumos after a change takes effect, that is your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and ask us to delete your account.
Copyright complaints
If you believe material processed through Leumos infringes your copyright, email studio@leumos.ai with enough detail to identify the material and your rights in it, and we will look into it.
The rest
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our agreement.
